In these four PhD projects, the effectiveness of screening for musculoskeletal problems, preventive chiropractic treatment and the effectiveness of direct access chiropractic treatment is assessed in cohort and randomized designs within the Svendborg Project that includes 1,300 schoolchildren between the ages of 11 and 13 years.
